Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer Opening

Grant Evans, Director of Adelaide Moulding and Casting Supplies, donated his time to prepare the mould boxes with Wed Clay for the opening of the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

A silicone mould using Wacker M4503 condensate cure silicone was made from the Wed Clay hand print.

Tony Abbott, His Excellency Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce, former South Australian Premier Mike Rann and South Australian Health Minister John Hill's handprints were recorded in the boxes of Wed Clay.

Quality Casting resin filled with Aluminium Powder as a metal filler was cast into the silicone mould, Stainless Steelwool was used to polish the casting. These Aluminium look castings will be displayed in the entrance foyer of the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

The handprints of; Ms Amanda Rishworth MP; Mr Alan Young AM; Ms Claire Neale and Mr Chris Brewer from LIVESTRONG; Professor Graeme Young and Professor Michael Barber were also moulded.
