Original Sculpey® White

Description

Original Sculpey® is soft and pliable, and it works and feels like ceramic clay but will not dry out when exposed to air. After baking, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic paints or Sculpey® Glaze. After coating with a few layers of the glaze*, you can use any paint you like to finish your piece. There are endless possibilities when creating with Sculpey®.

In the classroom – Original Sculpey® offers an inexpensive way to let children explore their creativity. Sculpey® helps hold a child’s focus and reinforce the lessons being taught. For the child, Sculpey® motivates, encourages interaction and turns the conceptual into reality. Original Sculpey®, both White and Terra Cotta, are available in 1.75 pound, 3.75 pound (white only), 8 pound and 24 pound boxes.

Bake at 130 °C for 15 minutes per 6 mm thickness. DO NOT MICROWAVE. Baking should be completed by an adult. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.

* Before glazing a painted piece – test a hidden section of the project first. Apply glaze and allow to dry completely. Observe for any interactions with glaze.
