Description

Plastrene No. 5 is a water and alcohol solution of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) film forming materials. It has been formulated for use as a parting layer, for separation between unsaturated polyester or epoxy based composites and various mould surfaces. Plastrene No. 5 is available in clear or blue dyed grades, and can be applied by brush, sponge or spray application. The material is water-soluble and is not recommended for use with resins containing or liberating water during cure (eg: Phenolics).
