Description
BJB pigments are opaque pigments for use with polyurethanes and epoxy resins. These pigments are typically used by adding approximately 1-2% by weight of pigment to the material system. Many materials are naturally dark and hard to colour. These materials may require from 1% to 5% of the pigment dispersion to develop the desired colour.
BJB pigments are added to the part “B” side of the Polyurethane resin prior to mixing with part “A”. If being used with Epoxy resin, BJB pigments are added to the part “A” side of the Epoxy resin prior to mixing with part “B”. If dark coloured hardeners are to be used, a pigment dispersion of up to 5% by weight may be required. Do Not add any more than 5% as this will inhibit the cure of the Epoxy resin.
Please note: this pigment is not suitable for use with Polyester resins.
