Description
The Kaiser Anti-Frosting additive is to prevent frosting by suppressing the crystal formation of stearic acid. It can also be added to increase the hardness of paraffin wax.
Recommended Dosage: 0.1% – 0.2% by weight (1 pellet weighs approx 0.05gm)
Add pellets into melted wax at 80°C & stir until completely dissolved.
Also known as Anti-Crystallization Additive.
e.g. How many pellets of kaiser anti-frosting additive to add to 500mg of wax
500gm x 0.2% = 1gm= 20 pellets
Recommended to be used with Soy Wax C-3Â

Unfortunately this additive has unintended consequences in GW464 wax. I made my batch as usual following instruction on packet and got poor glass adhesion and lumpy tops. Have since tried several other temperatures for pouring and same outcome. Wasted $30 on 3 packets and won’t be using this any more. Lesson learned just stay natural 🙂
Everything else I buy from AMCS is fantastic, but this is not.
